AUSTRALIA – Ideon is a spin-off from Canada’s particle physics lab and has likened its technology to medical computed technology, or CT scan. The Canadian company uses muon tomography to image Earth’s sub-surface, saying mineral deposits stand out like bones in an x-ray.
