Dan brings deep experience building commercial engines for high-growth deep-tech companies — leading go-to-market expansion, scaling recurring revenue, and commercializing advanced software, AI, robotics, and industrial technology platforms. 

Across his career, Dan has repeatedly built commercial organizations from early stage to scale — including enterprise software sales leadership roles at Trilogy, CallidusCloud, and DataCert; leading ID Watchdog through an IPO and subsequent acquisition by Equifax; pioneering early AI commercialization at Ayata (where he earned nine U.S. patents); and helping bring a long-standing cognitive AI research program to market as the first commercial executive at Cycorp.

Prior to Ideon, Dan was a commercial leader at Gecko Robotics, helping drive the company’s transformation to a platform-based business model and its rise to ‘unicorn’ status, serving critical infrastructure across energy, heavy manufacturing, and defense.
