Kim Lawrence

Chief of Staff

Kim has been with Ideon since the company began commercial activities in 2020 and served as Chief Experience Officer (CXO) until Aug 1, 2026 with a portfolio including customer experience; brand and culture; talent and employee experience; marketing and communications; as well as government and community engagement. From Aug – Dec 2026, Kim is serving as Chief of Staff as she transitions to retirement.

She earned her undergrad degree from Queen’s University and completed graduate studies in Business Management (Asia-Pacific) from Capilano University before launching a career in high-tech at companies including MDA (RADARSAT International) and Eastman Kodak (Creo). Prior to Ideon, she served for 8 years leading strategic initiatives and marketing at the University of Calgary — one of Canada’s leading research universities with a focus on energy innovation.
